TURF STUDS FOR ARTIFICIAL GRASS
Turf outsoles allow for a maximum traction on synthetic surfaces and minimize the discomfort to the sole of the foot caused by the studs. Studs don’t penetrate synthetic surfaces, they rest upon them, and this can cause foot pains because of the pressure applied to the soles of the feet. An outsole with numerous small studs redistributes that pressure throughout the whole of the sole, making it imperceptible.
Very recommended: Carpet-style turf and artificial turf with rubber infill.
Recommended: Dirt pitches.
Avoid on: Natural grass or third generation artificial turf.
